Lately, we've spending some time around Porongurup (pronounced Prong-grup), a mountaint range down south. It's a pretty nice area, and the working hostel we're staying at is pretty nice. The hostel owners, Scott and Di, are great, and it's nice to have a (double) bed at the end of a long day's work.
If McDonalds' bandwidth can handle it, I'll see if I can't get this great camel picture up. During our travels, we met this old British couple, Sandy and Jackie Chambers. Sandy's an artist, and a talented artist at that. He does paintings, sand sculptures and even those cool inverted hologram sculptures that follow you around the room (you kind of have to see it). On top of that, they have a huge collection of parrots and other exotic birds, and some pet camels and alpaccas. And as we were looking around their place (which is open to the public), Sandy asked me if I'd ever kissed a camel. Well.... no. Would you like to? Uh.... OK. And that's where this picture comes from.
So, that's it for another entry in the life of Christian, take care all.
