Ah, Italy

Since you've last heard from me, I've been wandering around Florence, enjoying life (because that's what you do in Florence). Great food, great art, great scenery. I saw David (3 times!), the Uffizi gallery and I spent all day today in Siena, which is a really sweet medieval town. Unfortunately, I don't have time to post these photos right now, but rest assured, they're on their way.

I'm going to spend one more day here in Florence, hit up a couple museums, and then I'm heading out to the Cinque Terres area. For more info on what that is exactly, stay tuned.

They've got a commercial about David talking to some woman about visiting Florence. Lovely city. I'd love to see it some time.

Well, David is no reason to visit Florence. The statue IS impressive, but it's just a statue. I think the true alure of Florence is just the city itself: it looks great, it's youthful, vibrant, and most important of all, relaxed. You can really lose yourself here, and I would highly recommend a visit.
