So my second morning in Barcelona I wake up covered in tiny, itchy bite marks. Bedbugs! So I gt reinbursed for my stay and catch th next train to Madrid.
Now, Madrid is really great, one of my favourite cities. It's very laid back and really pretty. And the weather is great, we've been in the high twenties for my entire visit. I have to ask, is it snowing yet back Canada way?
I went to the Museo Del Prado and the fantastic Reina Sofia moder art museum, and did the New Madrid free tour (also great). Tomorrow I catch the night train to Lisbon, where I might even get some photos uploaded. Talk to y'all later.

So far, no snow. Not here, anyway.
No snow here either. Just lots of wind. And as a result, lots of sign-related carnage.
I have a hell of a story to tell you when you get back, too. Not giving away any details, but when Derrick heard it his exact words were "My upside-down world has been turned rightside-up!"
BEDBUGS?????? Be sure to burn all your clothes, lol! I hope your rashes are all gone... and that you don't bring them back to Canada! They're a pretty big issue over here....
Have fun in Madrid, dude! Stay away from Basque Country now, ya'hear?
I can't believe you guys don't have snow, it's snowing in Spain (though not in Madrid, thank God).
I love wind stories, looking forward to it.
I did wash all my clothes, and no problems since. And what's wrong with Basque country? I hear it's the most beautiful part of Spain. Of course, people think that every part of Spain is the most beautiful...
Well, it's beautiful, but then there are the Basque terrorist extremist separatists... Spain's answer to the FLQ and Northern Irish civil strife....
haha.... but don't worry.... I believe the Basque terrorist groups signed a moratorium on terrorist activites a few years ago, and things have been quite stable since then.
*Knocks on wood*... sorry dude.. I've been writing a history paper and all I can think of are history facts... GAH!
I thought the Basque terrorists always warned people before they blew something up, because they don't actually want to kill people. Or am I completely off the mark?
