The One You've All Been Waiting For

Alright, so over the past few weeks, Adam and I have been traveling around Western Australia, picking up the odd job and making a bit of cash to help prolong ouor travels. Vineyard work is alright, and the pay would be pretty good if we didn't lose so much to taxes. Still, we do get all of our taxes back when we leave, so I guess that's alright.

Lately, we've spending some time around Porongurup (pronounced Prong-grup), a mountaint range down south. It's a pretty nice area, and the working hostel we're staying at is pretty nice. The hostel owners, Scott and Di, are great, and it's nice to have a (double) bed at the end of a long day's work.

If McDonalds' bandwidth can handle it, I'll see if I can't get this great camel picture up. During our travels, we met this old British couple, Sandy and Jackie Chambers. Sandy's an artist, and a talented artist at that. He does paintings, sand sculptures and even those cool inverted hologram sculptures that follow you around the room (you kind of have to see it). On top of that, they have a huge collection of parrots and other exotic birds, and some pet camels and alpaccas. And as we were looking around their place (which is open to the public), Sandy asked me if I'd ever kissed a camel. Well.... no. Would you like to? Uh.... OK. And that's where this picture comes from.

So, that's it for another entry in the life of Christian, take care all.

Dude, you made out with a camel.

I'm going to tell everybody this.

So, here's something that'll rock your world: I'm giving up Hawaiian shirts. I decided that, between them and the suits that I own, that it'd be nice to have something I can wear to an event more casual than a funeral and less casual than a luau. So the Hawaiian Life Fantastic is coming to a close, and you might not recognize me when next you see me.

And there might be a new DLC for Left 4 Dead 2 where the characters on both L4Ds meat up.

Wow.... you got action from a camel.... you are officially wwwaaaayyyy ahead of me.

How was it anyway? I assume pretty rough (take that comment in which ever way you desire ;-) )

The thing you all need to know about camels is that they are gentle giants. I was amazed at how huge they are, the camel in this picture is a relatively small female, the big bulls are like twice the size of a horse. But very gentle, they have soft (but not slimy) lips.

Jeremy, without Hawaiin shirts, I don't know how I'm going to be able to pick you out of a crowd. Or is that the point...? What's to be the new dew?

Hey Scott, L4D2 sounds kickass, I can't wait to try it.

Take care all, I'm off to relax for a bit before my early morning (6:00 AM!) grape pick tomorrow.

Oh, and Jason, Priscilla is a definite must for a middle name. I can just see it now: The Littlest "Priscilla" Hobo.

Feels like I'm just talking to myself here.

It's snowing a whole bunch right now and I can't help but feel as if you're partially responsible.
