The Big One

Alright, this may be along post, I'll start with a couple photos of London, and then I'll start Paris. I apologize for typos, the 'a' is where the 'q' should be on this damn keyboard, and the spellcheck highlights everything because it thinks I'm french.
Oh, and some excellent news, my shaving pictures turned up, I guess I was looking on the wrong memory card or something, look for that post next.

So, to kick things off, St Paul's Basillica

The famous Nelson's Column

The Royal Albert Hall and Memorial

The Giant Egg Building

The Rosetta Stone (from the British Museum)

Westminster Abbey

And a prize for whoever can tell me what makes this little number so cool

Now for some Paris pictures

Cathedrale Notre Dame

L'Arc de Triomphe

Basilisque du Sacre Coeur

The Louvre

The Louvre is an amazig museum, it's comparable to all the British museums I went to combined. Just some examples of its contents

The Venus de Milo

A painting that's bigger than your house (Julie has a puzzle of this piece)

The Raft of Medusa

And this overrated piece of work, which I couldn't get within 20 feet of

Versailles, as I've mentionned, was not my favourite place to visit, but here are some of the highlights.

The Gardens and the palace itself

The Palace up close

Marie Antoinette's Palace

The Hall of Mirrors

Some cool fountains, including:

Neptune

Appolo

And my favourite, I think this is Appolo dying. Whatever it is, it's epic.

That's all for now, I'll be back soon with some Eiffel Tower and Luxembourg stuff.

Battersea Power Station, right? And close by is Battersea Dogs Home.... I'm the most music-deaf in this group, so it's probably something music-related and I have no idea what's really about.....

..... something Pink Floyd, I assume?

Make sure to have crepes in Paris!! 2 euros from a street vendor you will not regret! And though you might think it would be overated, the Eiffel Tower (esp as the sun sets) is pretty awesome.

I did, in fact hqve crepes, though I did not see any for 2 euros. And as for the Eiffel Tower, well, just see my latest post.
