City of Lights
This is just a quick post to let you all know that I'm safe and sound in Paris. I've been to the Louvre (incredible!), l'Arc de Triomphe (awesome!) and Versailles (meh). More on all this and more in the following day, when I get to a decent internet cafe and can upload some pictures.
I did use the Chunnel, and despite being a smooth ride, not very exciting. Versailles was alright, the Hall of Nirrors and the Gardens were fantastic, but for all the trouble and cost of getting out there, it was hardly worth it.

Like ... no. What didn't you like about Versailles? Tell me you went through the gardens and the hall of mirrors!
Did you Chunnel it up and hop on a Eurostar train??? GASP!
